Brief Introducation

Prof. Dr. Samina Zaman, a graduate of Nishtar Medical College, Multan, got her postgraduate training in Histopathology from King Edward Medical College and was conferred FCPS Histopathology in March 1998 by College of Physician and Surgeon (CPSP), Pakistan. Shehas a vast experience of more than 30 years working in the field of pathology having served in different medical institutions. Presently she is working as Head of Pediatric Histopathology at University of Child Health Sciences &The Children’s Hospital, Lahore and Dean Basic Medical Sciences. She has privilege of being one of pioneers in Pediatric Histopathology. She has special interest in Pediatric GIT/Liver Pathology and Neuropathology. She takes immense pride in her long association with Chughtai Institute of Pathology since 1999. She is approved Supervisor for Postgraduate FCPS Trainees in histopathology. She is Secretary of CPSP Histopathology Faculty, Chairperson of CQI Department, Member of Institutional Review Board, and Executive Member of Histopathology & Cytopathology Society of Pakistan (HCSP), Pakistan Association of Pathologist (PAP) and International Academy of Cytology (IAC). She has keen interest in research and has more than 25 publications in national and international journals to her account.
