Brief Introducation

Dr. Natasha Anwar is a Clinical Scientist and Consultant Molecular Pathologist with over 18 years of experience in molecular diagnostics and genomics. She currently leads the Molecular Pathology Laboratory at the Aga Khan University Outreach in Lahore, where she has played a pivotal role in establishing testing facilities, expanding services, and driving quality initiatives, including CAP audits and PHC licensing. As General Secretary of the Association of Molecular Pathology Pakistan (AMPP), she actively contributes to advancing molecular diagnostics nationwide through training, conferences, and collaborative initiatives. Dr. Anwar’s professional interests span infectious diseases, oncology, rare disorders, and genomic medicine, with a strong focus on capacity-building, integrated diagnostics, and bioethics in Pakistan.
